There is a buzz about our business
We have a strong culture where people want to help each other, support one another and deliver great things for our Customers.
You can feel the buzz of our business when you walk onto site, see the feedback from customer surveys or meet colleagues on Teams, at our offices and businesses.

Everyone has the opportunity to make a difference.
We have outlined ambitious plans as a responsible business, such as being operationally carbon net-zero by 2025 or investing in education and future skills. Each of our colleagues plays a key part in making these ambitions a reality. This isn’t just lip service, it’s seen every day from introducing hedgehog highways to electric forklifts on site, or backing new apprentices - everyone has a chance to make a difference at St. Modwen.

Love to learn
Unlock your potential
Our mission is to enable every St. Modwen colleague to unlock their potential. A key part of this is the St. Modwen Academy. The academy is available to all and ranges from full-on management programmes to TED Talk-style videos to learn on the go via our dedicated resources exclusively for employees.
Project Manager, Raymond Lenton, explains how the opportunities to continuously develop plus a guaranteed support system, makes working at St. Modwen a fulfilling experience.
Join a team that never sits still
To stay ahead of the curve, we continue to invest in new ideas and technologies that help us stay attractive to customers and respond to environmental and market challenges.
Recent ideas include the launch of shell homes that people get to ‘self-finish’ themselves and ‘green’ concrete, a first by a UK housebuilder to reduce our carbon footprint.
Our 2021 year in review >
Not too big, not too small
Established business, personal culture
We’re a great size because we’re big enough to grow, with policies, personal development and infrastructure in place, but small enough to know everyone and not get bogged down with red tape.
