The Role
• Lead a variety of construction projects to support the logistics taking responsibility for health & safety, pre-construction, and build.
• Support the acquisition and occupier stages ensuring you are working collaboratively with other members of the team
• Being accountable for the management, delivery and budgets of all projects
• Manage and coordinate multi-disciplined project teams
• Work collaboratively with the planning team to implement a suitable Planning Strategy, and oversee the discharge of planning conditions.
• Responsible for the formation and implementation of Infrastructure, Energy and Delivery Strategy documents.
• Implement procurement strategies and manage consultants and contractors in line with agreed policies, and protocols,
• Prepare, manage and control “master” project delivery programmes
• Have overall responsibility for construction project delivery and provide leadership to the project team.
• Prepare monthly construction project financial reports
• Arrange regular meetings suitable to the stage of the process, incorporating agendas, actions, and trackers, ensuring targets are achieved.
• Drive forward Responsible Business Ambitions and where necessary implement into projects.
• Work collaboratively with customers, third parties, consultants, and contractors on a diverse range of objectives to ensure the successful completion of a project.
• Obtain all necessary pre-construction approvals, agreements & consents to facilitate the construction of the work

The Candidate
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
• Strong project management and organisation capabilities
• A senior professional who can work successfully within cross-functional teams
• Have the ability to effectively with a diverse range of people to create high performing team environments
• Extensive experience in strategic plans, monitoring and control of the project teams
• A track record of successfully leading multi-disciplined teams
• Strong professional network within the sector
• Excellent at building and maintaining external relationships
• Proactive and flexible with experience managing relationships and communications with consultants and customers
• Experience of MS Office, Ms Project, earned value and reporting tools,
• Experience managing the JCT form of Building Contract would be beneficial,
• Resilient and calm under pressure.
• Excellent collaboration skills highly effective at working in partnership with others and achieving positive outcomes.
• Skilled at managing senior stakeholders7
